Why wait for 2014 to start a New Year’s resolution?  Step into 2014, fit and healthy by starting your fitness regime now.

Many people make resolutions to lose weight or keep fit.  These are the most common resolutions which are all too easily broken.  This could be either that the goals you have in mind aren’t realistic enough, so you give up because you don’t seem to be hitting your target, or you’re not enjoying your regime and so don’t have the motivation to carry it on.  

There are so many ways of keeping fit.  You just need to find the right one for you. Once you’ve discovered what you enjoy the most, you’ll start to see and feel the difference!

Here are just a few of the things you can try out:

Dancing

There are many types of dance styles.  Maybe you’ve tried one style and not enjoyed it. Did you give up or did you try a different style?  What do you prefer, dancing in a group, with a partner or on your own? There are many questions to ask yourself before you let one idea go.  You might not like one style but you may love the other – you won’t know until you try.

There are many types of dance holidays that are organised by The Team here, including Salsa, Tango, Line Dancing, Jive Bollywood, Bhangra, Belly dance and more… some more intense than the others. Try something different and see how you feel!  

Zumba Classes

This is just as fun and exciting and a great way to get into shape and keep fit while partying. Zumba works the whole body and consists of a combination of various dance styles incorporated into dance routines to upbeat music and songs so it feels like you’re partying with friends than exercising. Dance styles include salsa, tango, ballroom, street, bollywood, bhangra, belly dance and more. This would be a great way of finding out which dance style is best for you!

Yoga

Yoga works the whole body inside and out.  It unites your mind , body and spirit to work as one and is just as addictive as Zumba.  Yoga has various advantages, both physiological and psychological and is a great way to refresh your inner self.
